MEET THE CANDIDATES EVENT

 

 

Mark your calendar to attend the Meet The Candidates Event on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in Friendship Hall.

 

There are two open positions for 3-year terms on the Board of Directors. Intent to be Candidate notification and bios will be posted to the Owners Meeting forum as they are received (accepted after December 28, 2024).

 

.  Intent to be Candidate deadline is January 20, 2025 by emailing the completed and

   signed form to vote@nclrv.com, or it can be dropped off at the NCL office during

   normal business hours. Form is available on the website or at the NCL office.

.  Bios of Candidates are due January 25, 2025 by emailing vote@nclrv.com.

 

One hour is allotted for this event and may be adjusted based on the number of candidates running for the open positions. Additional details about candidate questions will be posted to the forum.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Join your friends and neighbors on Wednesday, February 5, at 6:00 pm in Friendship Hall for an owner-led discussion about our park. This is part two of a discussion that began in July, where we talked about what brought us to NCL, what we like about the park, and what keeps us coming back to the park. 

 

Bring your ideas and share what is most important to you as we, together, have a conversation about, and develop an understanding of, our hopes and concerns as we strive to make our park the best it can be. 

 

If you have a topic you would like to discuss, please add it through the NCL Community Forum: Activity Groups: General Discussion: Neighborhood Roundtable; or you may send a private message to me through Facebook Messenger and I will add it to our topic list.

Calling all cornhole players and any beginners.  RSVP will close midnight on 2/14.

We are going to have a progressive cornhole tournament with the women and men being separate. That also depends on if we get enough of each to sign up and if not we’ll throw everyone together. This tournament will consist of different lots hosting. We will begin at the friendship hall in back at noon and will draw for lots and partners. After each game we’ll all go back to the friendship hall and redraw. This will happen after every game. We will all be using the bags and boards that are on the host lots. We are also looking for host lots and extra boards and bags. With that being said keep in mind that the lots have to be fairly level. I will also be checking out any boards and bag’s being donated for the tournament so as everything can be as fair as possible. Remember that this is a fun tournament for all beginners and good players. We will be charging $5 a person and depending on how many entries we get will depend on prize money. So let’s have fun this winter and enjoy being with all our friends in the park. 

Join us for NCL's 5th Annual Cornhole Tournament on February 22nd @ 1 pm.  Double Elimination Bracket and Blind Drawing for teams.  Entry fee is $10 per person.  We will do the Blind Drawing for teams the day of the Tournament at 11 am.  We will have 6 boards set up and individuals can use their own bags.  We are playing League play at 27 feet apart.
