NOTICE OF ACTIVITIES MEETING OF

NATURE COAST LANDINGS RESORT ASSOCIATION, INC.

 

          A Meeting of the Activities Committee of Nature Coast Landings Resort Association will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the clubhouse, at 10173 N. Suncoast Boulevard, Crystal River, Florida 34428.

          All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend.  The committee will be discussing upcoming events and gathering ideas for activities and entertainment in the busy winter season.  If you would like to host an event, dinner, or have an idea, you are encouraged to attend.  Also, if you are new in the park and would like to learn how to submit an event on the calendar, someone on the committee will be glad to show you how.

Come up to the Friendship Hall and join us for an evening of fun and music. Jump on the stage and sing your best rendition of your favorite song, or Line Dance with the group. This is always a good time. Don't forget to bring your favorite beverage. Even if you don't want to sing or dance, it's a great time to get to know your neighbors and enjoy some free entertainment.

This year, for the Lobby Christmas Tree, we would like to have an ornament for each lot with your beautiful faces!! The ornament will be a  wood round with your picture in the center.

To do this, we are going to have Picture Day! Just like in school!

These will both take place in Friendship Hall. Just stop by during the times listed.  We will use a Christmas Background and just get a quick photo. We would LOVE to have as many as possible. If you can't make either of these dates, just let me know and we can try to have a makeup day.

Veteran's Day remembrance and ceremony around the flagpole in front of Friendship Hall.

Frank Ogborn will perform the ceremony honoring our Veterans.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Come join us Sunday afternoons at 1:00 for a riveting game of bocce with the guys against the girls.  No experience is necessary as there is no skill to this game....just luck.  However be prepared to heckle the opposite gender as they attempt to win.  It's a fun afternoon.

Are you interested in gardening or working on projects to spruce up NCL ?   Take some notes as you walk around the park and join us to discuss suggestions and ideas for this year's group projects.  We need to do some fine tuning of the Front Entrance landscape. Possible new projects include upgrading the front sign, adding plants inside the park between the front gates, doing a refresh of the Clubhouse plants, adding a border inside the park along the main entrance road, updating the mailboxes and plants on the mailbox island.  Looking into turning some of our yard waste into mulch.  What else can you think of ?   All are invited and bring a friend.

Come join your friends and neighbors at NCL for Thanksgiving Dinner in Friendship Hall. Dinner is at 4:00 with social hour starting at 3:30. Turkey is provided by the Activities Committee as well as mashed potatoes, gravy and dressing/stuffing. You will need to sign up online if you are planning on attending so the committee will know how much food to prepare. You are asked to prepare a side dish and/or dessert (other than mashed potatoes or dressing) to share and will be asked when you sign up what you plan to bring.
