Veteran's Day Dinner Click to Signup 10/28-11/7
Monday, November 11th, 2019, 5:30pm to 7pm at Friendship Hall
Ceremony around the flagpole starts at 5:30. Dinner at 6:00. The menu is Fried or Baked Chicken, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw and Dessert. Cost of the dinner is $8.00 and dinner service will be provided. Bring your own drinks. Then hang around for Card Bingo at 7:00!
Online signup starts on 10/28 and ends at midnight 11/7
After signing up online that you will attend and your dinner choices, for your convenience, there will be someone from the Activities Committee available in the clubhouse to take your cash payment on:

The menu for rhis Friday is: Salad with chicken, Pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw, Hot dogs with all the trimmings, beanie weenies, chips and drinks. Cost for salad and pork sandwich are $3.00 each and hot dogs remain $2.00. For dessert I have assorted klondike bars, drumsticks or dish of ice cream for $1.00. It looks like a pretty weekend, don't forget the seafood festival is this Sat and Sun in Yankeetown. Enjoy.

The decorating and cooking in Friendship Hall in prep for Thanksgiving Dinner necessitates the request that no personal cooking or activities take place until after the Thanksgiving Meal is over. You are still welcome to use the Clubhouse Kitchen.

Come join your neighbors at NCL for Thanksgiving Dinner in Friendship Hall. Dinner is at 4:00 with social hour starting at 3:30. Turkey is provided by the Activities Committee as well as mashed potatoes, gravy and dressing/stuffing. You will need to sign up online if you are planning on attending so the committee will know how much food to prepare You are asked to prepare a side dish and/or dessert (other than mashed potatoes or dressing) to share and will be asked when you sign up what you plan to bring. (So that we don't have a major influx of green bean casserole and nothing else :) )
After dinner there will be a trivia competition game.
We are currently at capacity for Friendship Hall so we will expand dinner seating to the Clubhouse. If you would like to eat in the Clubhouse, please email nclactivities@gmail.com.
Also, the football game will be playing on the TV in the Clubhouse only.

16 contestants will vie for the title of NCL Trivia Master! There will be 4 games consisting of 4 players each. The winner of each heat will be on the championship team for the final game to find a winner. Watch your fellow NCLers sweat it out on the NCL stage as this game show heats up. There will be a signup for the contestants during Thanksgiving Dinner. At 5:00, 16 contestants will be chosen at random to play
