| Landscape and Park Beautification - The Sign - final material choice | |

| Description: | The Landscape and Park Beautification team is a hands-on group of residents who are interested in helping the park look better. We take on projects which require a variety of skills from brainstorming to design to organizing to weeding and handling a rake or shovel. No experience required . . . (although we could use some guidance from any landscape designers or architects out there ! ).
The meeting is #3 of 4 and the agenda includes reviewing our current status and developing a game plan for:
o The SIGN: final approval by group. Tentative schedule
o Report on recommendations on thinning out the median strip
o Silver Thorn replacement – need to move the existing cactus somewhere, could start removing dead shrubs while we wait on maintenance
o Front Entrance Gate Repaint – is green ok or do we want to change color ? Scope of job and tentative schedule
o Boneyard Clean up – determine good wood from bad and toss the bad. Is there a good space to have a plant rehab area – not direct sun but available water ?
o Report on field trip to the Plantation per Scott’s recommendation– use of color and groupings – need plant list and budget approval
o Possible first draft of landscape plan
