The Landscape and Park Beautification team is a hands-on group of residents who are interested in helping the park look better.  We take on projects which require a variety of skills from brainstorming to design to organizing to weeding and handling a rake or shovel.  No experience required . . . (although we could use some guidance from any landscape designers or architects out there ! ). 

 

The agenda includes reviewing our current status and developing a game plan for:

   1.   Status - growth/frost, mulch refreshed, schedule cutting ornamental grass, breaking up fast growers

   2.   Replacing distressed or missing plants in the silverthorn hedge on the north side of the front entrance

   3.   Refreshing the front entrance sign using donated funds as approved by owners in March '23

   4.   Working with management to develop maintenance checklists

   5.   Short Term: Reviewing existing landscape of park property and flagging areas for improvement such as area around pool, entrance boulevard, area around the pavillion

   6.   Long Term: Work on a longer term vision for the park - use of common areas,  turf vs stone, lighting, additional facilities, what does a "Resort" mean ??
