Join us on the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month for breakfast to celebrate our valued Veterans.  Breakfast will begin at 9:30am and then a Veterans Day service at the flag pole after.     Cost is $6.00 per person.  If you are a veteran, there is no charge for the breakfast, but please register so enough food can be prepared.  

Payment will be collected at the door that day, please try and bring the correct cash.     Registration closes 11/7   Please be sure to bring a sweater or jacket if you tend to get cold in Friendship Hall.  The AC will be on.   

Veterans Day Service - Join NCL in honoring our Veterans on the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month.  After breakfast we will hold a memorial service in honor and remembrance of our Veterans.
 
Did you know:  Veterans Day was originally called Armistice Day   Hostilities in World War I ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 when the Armistice, or peace agreement, with Germany went into effect. Armistice Day began as a celebration recognizing the victory of the allied forces of WWI. It was renamed Veterans Day by President Dwight Eisenhower in 1954 and is now dedicated to veterans of all wars.

Meet for breakfast at the former Shrimp Landing in Inglis at 8:45am or meet us at the range 9:30-9:45 for some shooting fun.  Don't worry about your skill level, we shoot for a good time! Join us Thursday, 11/20/2025, for the Turkey Toss at 1:00 pm behind Friendship Hall (Outside) 

Whomever throws the 12 lb. Turkey (Frozen) into the ring, will move on to compete to toss the turkey the furthest and win a prize.

Twice a year we need to refresh the pine straw in the common areas which we use as mulch around the landscape plants. Around 8:30 on Friday we can use 8 or 9 people to drive to rake and collect the pine needles.  Sometime around noon, we could use a group in the park to distribute the the needles in the various landscape bedding.  That takes less than an hour.  Many hands make short work of this.  The mulch traps moisture for the plants and help reduce weeds.

Click here to sign up. Activities Committee provides: Turkey, Dressing/Stuffing, potatoes and gravy. Come join your friends and neighbors at NCL for Thanksgiving Dinner in Friendship Hall. Dinner is at 4:00 with social hour starting at 3:30. Turkey is provided by the Activities Committee as well as the dressing/stuffing, potatoes and gravy. You will need to sign up online if you are planning on attending so the committee will know how much food to prepare. You are asked to prepare a side dish and/or dessert  to share and will be asked when you sign up what you plan to bring.   RSVP will open on November 5, 2025.
